Winner of the Principal Award for Landscape Design Excellence at the British Association of Landscape Industries National Landscape Awards 2007.
In making the award to Chris Parsons for the second year running, the judges said, "This is an extremely confident & strong design, responding very well to the awkward angles, slope & position of the garden. An impressive piece of work well deserving of this award."

The BALI
Judges said, "A strange shape and complicated levels were turned into
an advantage with a beautifully conceived and drawn design that makes excellent
use of space."
The three oak cubes for this unique water feature were specially commissioned from a local sawmill.
The natural
wood shines through and water bubbles restfully, fitting with the natural
style of the planting.
The client is interested in new planting introductions and styles.

The garden seen here in its first season. A circle of York stone paving is sunk into a sweep of loose gravel that will ultimately contain self-seeded plants and be lower maintenance and more interesting than a lawn.
Brick
retaining walls match the house and create an open sitting area that was not
available before.
