Featured in the prestigious Garden Design Journal's Review of 2004 as an 'innovative and exciting scheme', the brief for this garden was that it should have structure & symmetry, blocks of colour and an ordered & tidy feel.

Measuring 70m x 10m and with a slope of 7m down towards the house, the garden is divided into three sections: an ornamental garden (pictured), a vegetable garden with greenhouse, potting shed & compost area and a woodland area.
The lines of the design take the eye to the edges of the garden, making it look wider.
